Historical Overview
The villa located at 1/a of Queen Erzsébet út occupies an important place in the cultural history of Budapest. The building is famous for hosting many iconic nightclubs in the early 20th century.
In this house, one of the most influential entrepreneurs, Lujza Wabitsch, opened the Jardin de Paris nightclub and cabaret. The Moulin Rouge in Városliget was also owned by Lujza.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a famous listed building (built in 1930), which is furnished with contemporary, original antique, but fully renovated classical furniture and pictures. This is complemented by the most modern, latest equipment and machines. The American kitchen is equipped with a programmable electric oven, hotplate, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, freezer, and modern kitchen appliances.
